Born and raised in Mexico City, Andrea began her path in the film industry while completing her studies in Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Intercontinental and the University of Salamanca in Spain.

Her passion for design and decoration started in childhood, inspired by her father's love for collecting vintage pieces. That early influence grew into a lifelong appreciation for objects with history and character.

Andrea's career took off while collaborating with a friend at an independent production company, creating music videos for well-known Mexican bands such as Café Tacvba, Natalia Lafourcade, and Enjambre. Over the past decade, she has built a solid career in the film industry, contributing to major productions like Narcos: México, Acapulco, and a wide range of high-profile commercials.

In addition to her work in production design, Andrea runs .CHIM CHIM CHONGAS a vintage furniture restoration project dedicated to transforming spaces with personality and charm. Her creative approach is rooted in the belief that every object and place deserves a second life. For her, design is as much about storytelling as it is about aesthetics—always on the lookout for hidden treasures waiting to be revived.
